【2011.11.04】Last Annual Dinner of BDS years

Been really really really lazy these days. I must really get back into the habit of blogging because I actually do enjoy reading about the stupid stories of my life (sometimes I randomly log into my old xanga account and LOL at myself) - when I’m really bored, haha.

So more than 2 weeks ago was the long awaited Annual Dinner 8D

It wasn’t so “long awaited” when the time finally came, one week before the event, and I started panicking about the usual:

“OMG I HAVE NO DRESS TO WEAR”

To be honest, no one other than myself would care about what I end up wearing to the dinner because of course, it was JUST a dinner. Obviously I just wanted an excuse to add another piece of clothing to the wardrobe and end up not wearing it ever again. Pretty sure that in an upcoming event with the same dress code I’d be wanting to buy another dress…stupid viscious cycle unhealthy spendings ._. 

Anyway, if anyone is actually interested, I bought my dress from STYLENANDA which is a Korean brand located in..Korea. In other words, my dress was actually mailed to me FROM KOREA BY PLANE (they sent it via EMS) 8D ← sounds so “ooooooooo cho amajjing” haha. Actually it’s not as expensive as it sounds because they have free shipping for those purchasing from Hong Kong (and China/Taiwan/etc.) for spendings over 50USD. I’ll blog about my purchases from Stylenanda in another entry.

The dinner itself was once again held at the Happy Valley Racecourse but this time, at the Owner’s Box. ← WHO IS THE RICH PERSON WHO OWNS A FRIGGIN’ HORSE DDDD8 (We were at the Member’s Stand last year because obviously we didn’t know anyone who owned..a horse ._.  lol)

I have no idea why my buffet plate looks a bit like breakfast with the eggs and the ham haha.

This reminds me an awful lot of Japanese food back in Sydney (i.e. Japanese food served in a western style, HAHA)

I only noticed half-way through the dinner that the forks had our names engraved on it! I have my own personalized fork now! 

The ~lucky~ girl, Zoe, who won another book by the Dean. (NOTE: this is her 2nd time winning a textbook by the Dean during the 5 years, lololol)

The won who probably deserves to keep the trophy to herself, haha. (This entry is becoming some Annie appreciation entry or something? lol)

Birthday Present from Dior Parfums

Remember how I was shopping at Dior because I was dying to get that Hypnotic Poison EDT back in 2009? Thanks to Kame&Junie

Remind me again why I never regretted getting that extra Dior Snow Mascara to become a member.

Last year I got a sample size Miss Dior Cherie EDT.

This year?

I really don’t know what to use it for though haha. I don’t normally use brooches. Hmm.

I love it still because it’s just so pretty to look at.

Anyhow,

【2011.05.16】フィーたん

Met up with a super old friend, Fi (dollyvalentine) yesterday!

The first thing when I saw her standing there was “OMG WAE YOU SO PRETTY?! ヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ -fangirls-“.  Yeah, first thing after not seeing each other for 2 years.

She keeps saying she’s fat. Idek which part. She makes me feel obese.

So we were deciding on what to eat. I said I wanted to eat burgers so we walked to Langham Place (where MOS Burger is located).

I ended up eating New York Fries. LOL. It’s not bad? Pricey though. 8D

We caught up on so much. It was like art lessons at Wu Yeung’s again (where we had art lessons every Sunday back in those days XD). Just sat there talking, b*tching, and chatting. About literally anything and everything.

She was on the search for her ‘Arparkasso’ collection. I had no idea what it was. Apparently, it’s this little fluffy cute thing here.

フィ＜How can you NOT know what it is? It’s all over tumblr (I thought you lurk on tumblr 24/7)!!!

But Duffy is seriously very cute lorrrr D: ← person who resisted but failed miserably once she entered Disney Sea.

Anyway I really hope Fi can get the job at Paul & Joe… (ー人ー)お願い！I really admire Fi. I like how she can withstand all the criticism she gets everyday. People calling her fake, people hating her because she’s different…it must be really hard to go through. As someone who has known her for almost 6 years, she is one of the most talented people I’ve met. Whatever she likes to do, she can reach almost if not perfection at it. Let it be art, make-up, or styling (and Japanese D8). A true perfectionist, although very very modest :)

Classes cancelled tomorrow because the A/C system at the hospital died. I have no idea why it ALWAYS chooses to die during the summer weather.
